Grant Memorial African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, 4017 South Drexel Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois will have its 104th Anniversary Celebration and Homecoming Revival Celebration on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Founded in 1914, the church over the years has grown spiritually and the program activities have continued to enhance the quality of life of the members, as well as the broader community.
To commemorate the celebration, the church, will have a 10:45 a.m. Worship Service, an Anniversry Luncheon at 12:30 p.m. and the Anniversary/Homecoming Revival at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Dr. James F. Miller, pastor of DuPage AME Church in Lisle, IL, will be the speaker for the afternoon service. The music ministry will be provided by a reunion of choir members and former musicians. The Grant Memorial AME Church family is inviting everyone to join them during this celebration.
