The public is invited to attend the unveiling of the Gary Public Library’s mural on Saturday, June 16 at 10am at the Gary Public Library and Cultural Center, 2nd floor, 220 W. 5th Avenue.

The mural, painted by East Chicago artist, Felix Maldonado aka Flex, depicts various images of current and former Garyites, Gary landscapes, cultures, concepts and buildings that reflect the character, culture and history of Gary, Indiana.
There will be a brief program followed by the unveiling. Refreshments sponsored by the Friends of the Gary Public Library. Maldonado’s art work is on exhibit in the Main Art Gallery through the end of June.
