The Gary Parks Department supported by the American Red Cross will offer free swim lessons at Tolleston Park located on the city’s west side.
Beginning Thursday, July 18, 2019, swim lessons will be offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Tolleston’s pool. Swim instructors will hold two sessions; 11:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Lessons will be supervised and are offered to those age 5 and up.
Those 5 and up are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to learn to swim with confidence and receive important water safety tips. Tolleston pool is open Wednesday-Sunday from 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Tolleston Park is located at 1709 Ellsworth Place.
