The City of Gary will present its annual Independence Day Parade on the Fourth of July holiday, Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Applications are now available.
Those interested in participating in the parade may download the application at www.gary.in.us or via teamgaryindiana.com and return to email address provided on the app. Participants may also visit City Hall, 401 Broadway to complete an application.
The parade will again this year grace the 25th Avenue corridor in the city’s midtown and travel west from Washington Street to Grant Street. The selected Parade theme this year is “Embracing Our Future…Celebrate America…Celebrate Gary!” The Parade will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The City of Gary’s parade has been dubbed, “one of the best Independence Day parades in Northwest Indiana.” All organizations, businesses, bands, community groups and individuals are welcomed.
