CareSource, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan, will host a free Bumps & Babies Family Resource Fair, offering important information to new mothers about staying healthy before, during and after pregnancy. CareSource’s mission is to make a lasting difference in their members’ lives and community by improving their health and well-being, and they aim to do this through the upcoming Bumps & Babies event.
At the event, new Hoosier mothers will get the chance to learn strategies to create healthy habits and can connect to free community resources including child care assistance and food assistance programs. There will also be a grand prize drawing for both mother and baby. CareSource members will get one free diaper bag upon arrival.
This event is free and open to the public.
The event will take place on December 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Indiana University Northwest, Moraine Student Center, 3400 Broadway, Gary, IN. Parking is available in front of the venue, off West 33rd Ave.
