Fedex hires its first Black woman pilot

For the first time in the history of the company, Fedex has hired its first-ever Black woman pilot.

According to a blog posted on the Fedex website, Line Check Airman Tahirah Lamont Brown was promoted to pilot for the international shipping company.

Brown decided that she wanted to be a pilot in high school, and has never looked back despite it being a male-dominated industry.
