Jonathan Portis will sponsor and host “An Evening of Gospel Quartets” at the Glen Theater, 20 West Ridge Road, on Saturday, July 29 at 6 p.m. The concert will feature the dynamic quartet group, the Douglas Singers. Also on program will be Ce Ce & Company, The Winslett Family Gospel Singers, and Praise & Harmony.
Portis said the Douglas Singers were such a hit at his recently held concert that they are back by popular demand. Proceeds from the event will be used to sponsor youth activities. Tickets are $12 and are available at Beautiful Things in the Village Shopping Mall or by calling 290-7762 or 887-2046. The admission at the door is $15.
