April 22nd announcement to be held at Chicago Hilton & Towers
Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown will make an announcement whether to run for mayor of Chicago, the Crusader has learned.
Sources said Brown, will make an announcement regarding her candidacy for the office of Mayor of the City of Chicago at the Chicago Hilton and Towers on Sunday, April 22 at 3:00 p.m. Brown has served as Clerk of the Court of Cook County since 2000, and manages an annual operating budget of more than $100 million and a workforce of 1,600 employees. Brown was re-elected to her fifth term in 2016.
