“Who Cares for Caregivers: A Conversation on
Policies, Challenges and Resources”
10am – 2pm Hyatt House Chicago Medical District, 1835 W. Harrison Street, Chicago, IL 60612
Family caregivers aren’t often recognized for their selfless service, but they will be our honored guests at Love Bears All Things, the second annual Dear Me Care Circle Pre-Mother’s Day Brunch.
This brunch celebrates the professionals who often are thrust into the role of caregiving for an elderly or infirm family member while juggling responsibilities at work, at home, and in their communities.
Dear Me Care Circle’s mission is to empower caregivers to prioritize their own mental and physical health as they work to ensure their loved ones receive the best and most appropriate care possible.
We provide resources, guidance, support and a compassionate community of like-minded individuals to share in the joys and challenges of managing a dependent loved one’s care.

Our program will include:
- Who Cares for Caregivers: A Conversation on Policies, Challenges and Resources moderated by Nate Rodgers, Fox 32.
- Special Caregiver Honorees
- Caregiver of the Year Honorees: Dorothy R. Leavell, Newspaper Publisher; Josephine “Mother” Wade, Chef and Restauranteur
- Heart of Caring Award Recipients
Dear Me Care Circle’s programming is ongoing with educational webinars, a podcast featuring personal caregiver stories of resilience, virtual and in-person self-care pamper parties, and in November, our inaugural Family Caregivers’ Expo are in the works.
