U.S. Representative Robin Kelly (IL02) recently joined several of her constituents for an hour-long discussion on the nation’s healthcare.
“Consistently, healthcare polls as the top issue for American families, and it’s not hard to see why. Healthcare costs continue to climb and many families are struggling to afford lifesaving medicine,” said Congresswoman Kelly. “The American people are looking to Congress for bold action that will ensure they can remain physically and financially healthy.”
The Tabletop Town Hall:
The tabletop town hall, a first of a series, was hosted by Flossmoor resident and retired educator, Barbara Hayes. Hayes, along with other residents of the 2nd district, raised concerns about health care and drug costs and offered potential solutions, which Congresswoman Kelly said she will take back to Congress.
