Chicago Urban League hosts South Side Community Forum for Housing Justice

Join the Chicago Urban League at the Community Forum on Housing Justice in Chicago’s South Side Communities on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

Make your voice heard on housing issues in Chicago! The Chicago Urban League and the Metropolitan Tenants Organization are co-hosting a community forum on Wednesday, August 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chicago Urban League, 4510 S. Michigan Ave. We will be discussing housing issues in South Side neighborhoods and the City of Chicago’s 5-Year Housing Plan. They will be also asking for public comment on housing needs and concerns in these neighborhoods, and plan to share this information with the Housing Plan committee and other elected officials.

There is no charge to attend, but we would like people to RSVP so that we can get an accurate headcount for the room. Click on this link to RSVP for the Forum on August 15: bit.ly/2OUyzGr

They are also hoping to collect additional information on South Side neighborhood housing issues in this very brief survey. Whether you will attend the forum or not, they would appreciate your input. Click on this link to complete the survey: bit.ly/2OUud1Z

Feel free to share the RSVP and survey links with your friends, family, coworkers and other South Side residents! Look forward to seeing you on August 15!
