On May 3, 2018, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce welcomed 125 businesses and organizations with premier practices to recognize the Best Places to Work in Indiana. Centier Bank once again finished in the Top 15 of the Large Company category, continuing their tradition as one of 20 companies bestowed with Hall of Fame status as a Best Place to Work.
“It is truly rewarding for Centier to once again be named to the Best Places to Work in Indiana list and continue our tradition as a Hall of Fame Company with this distinction,” explained Chrisanne Christ, Senior Partner in Human Resource Development at Centier Bank. “Every year provides another opportunity to take a look at what we are doing to improve and we look forward to an even higher ranking next year. The distinction of being near the top of the Best Places to Work in Indiana is a testament to the culture our associates create and carry with them every day.”
Two hundred companies applied for the distinction this year, and a record 125 companies have been named to the list. Centier Bank is one of 19 companies named Best Places to Work in Indiana to achieve Hall of Fame status, a result of being named to this list in 12 of the 13 years the list has been accrued. The Best Places to Work in Indiana are determined through employer reports and comprehensive employer surveys conducted by The Best Companies Group, which oversees similar programs in 25 other states.

Every company on the list makes people the priority in its workspace, backing that up with policies and practices geared toward employee success and satisfaction,” said Kevin Brinegar, Indiana Chamber of Commerce President.
Centier Bank finished 11th in the Large Company category, featuring companies that employ between 250 and 999 associates.
