A New Monthly Conversation Bringing Funeral Industry Insight, Education and Compassion to
the Community
C WHITT PR is proud to announce the launch of “The Funeral Guys,” a new monthly live broadcast designed to educate, inform and engage the public about the funeral industry while providing practical guidance to individuals and families navigating one of life’s most important and difficult experiences.
Produced in partnership with Smith, Bizzell & Warner Funeral Home, a 105-year-old institution serving the Gary community, The Funeral Guys will offer viewers an opportunity to hear directly from experienced funeral professionals, ask questions and gain a better understanding of funeral planning, grief, family services and the many considerations that accompany end-of-life arrangements.
The inaugural broadcast will take place Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. and will stream live on the Facebook and Instagram pages of C WHITT PR and Smith, Bizzell & Warner Funeral Home.
Hosted by Chelsea Whittington, CEO of C WHITT PR, the inaugural episode will feature Dana Kelly White, Licensed Funeral Director and General Manager of Smith, Bizzell & Warner Funeral Home, as the special guest.
White will share her professional knowledge and perspective on the funeral experience, including funeral planning, grief support, community care and what families can expect when making arrangements for a loved one.

The concept is rooted in the belief that conversations about death and funeral planning should not be reserved solely for moments of crisis. By bringing funeral professionals and the community together in an accessible live format, The Funeral Guys aims to remove some of the mystery surrounding the funeral industry and encourage families to have meaningful conversations about their wishes and options.

As a monthly broadcast, The Funeral Guys will provide an ongoing forum for education and conversation, with opportunities for viewers to engage directly with funeral professionals.
