CHICAGO — February 26, 2025 – The Chicago Bulls gave a valiant effort but came up just short, losing to the LA Clippers 120-117 in a heart-pounding finish at the United Center on Tuesday night.

The Clippers dominated early, taking a 12-point lead into halftime with a 47-35 advantage. However, the Bulls turned the tables in the second half, outscoring Los Angeles 25-12 in the second quarter to edge ahead 60-59 by the break.

In the third quarter, the Clippers regained their rhythm, outscoring the Bulls 39-33, and seemed to have the game in control as they led by 10 heading into the final frame. Chicago refused to go quietly, cutting the lead down to just two points in the final minutes after a determined comeback.

With the clock winding down and the Bulls pushing for a final shot, James Harden stepped up for the Clippers. With 14 seconds left, Harden hit a clutch three-pointer, then sealed the win with two free throws, pushing the lead back to three and ending any hopes of a Bulls’ upset.

The final score of 120-117 saw the Clippers narrowly escape with a win, while the Bulls will look to build on their strong second-half performance in their next outing.
