The Chicago Bulls earned their 8th win on the season with a 106-99 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night (December 4) at the United Center.

Zach Lavine scored a team high 25 points, including several big shots down the stretch.

“They came back and we were only up by one,” said Lauri Markkanen, starting forward of the Chicago Bulls. “Nobody panicked. Everybody stayed calm. And we talked about what we had to do.”

For a second straight game, the Bulls were able to sustain a huge run by the opposition and would match every single rally with a huge shot.

This time that huge shot came in the likes of a potential all star in Lavine, draining a deep three-pointer over a Grizzlies defender with his team up 88-87 with 4:15 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Lavine’s three pointer gave the Bulls breathing room and a four point lead late in the fourth quarter. Lavine’s huge shot down the stretch also helped the Bulls earn their first two game winning streak of the year.

Final Score:

Bulls 106, Grizzlies 99.
