Bulls beat Miami Heat at UC but lose back to back games to Minnesota and Golden State

The Chicago Bulls beat the Miami Heat 133-124 at the United Center, followed by back to back losses to the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors. 

According to Bulls PR, guard Coby White eclipsed 900 career 3FGM with four 3-pointers versus Miami (2/4), becoming the 14th player in NBA history to make 900-plus 3FGM before the age of 25. 

KEY RUNS:

The Heat led the entirety of the first half of play – with their biggest lead being 13 points (57-70). Chicago trailed Miami at the half, 60-70. Chicago mounted a 14-3 run early in the third quarter (10:12, 3rd quarter to 8:06, 3rd quarter) to grab their first lead of the game, 78-77. However, Chicago trailed after three frames, 94-103. Miami rode a 12-2 run between the end of the third quarter and the start of the fourth (1:37, third quarter to 10:55, fourth quarter) to re-establish a double-digit advantage (12 points, 96-108). 

Chicago responded with a 18-6 run between 10:04 in the fourth quarter and 6:16 in the fourth quarter to tie the game, 114-114. The Bulls later paired this run with a 19-6 run, between 4:45 in the fourth quarter to 0:27 in the fourth, to grab the lead (132-124) and seal the victory. 

Final Score: Bulls 133, Heat 124 

After the victory over the Heat, the Bulls would lose to the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-108 on the road. 

The Bulls had no answer for guard Anthony Edwards, who scored a game high 49 points versus Chicago. 

The Bulls and Warriors battled it out at the United Center on Saturday night as guard Steph Curry took over the game in the third quarter finishing with a game-high 34 points.
