The Chicago Bulls defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 118-110, on Thursday, February 9, on the road.
The Bulls received a big boost off the bench from center Andre Drummond, who scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the victory over the Grizzlies.
“We’re a force together in the paint,” said Drummond via the Associated Press. “It makes teams deal with us on both ends of the court. I really like that lineup, and I look forward to more of it.”
In addition to Drummond’s huge game off the bench, center Nikola Vucevic added 20 points as a starter. Both Vucevic and Drummond combined for 41 points versus the Grizzlies.
Forward DeMar DeRozan led the team in scoring with 30 points and helped his team outscore the Grizzlies 28-25 in the third quarter and 38-29 in the fourth quarter to close out the game.
Final Score: Bulls 118, Grizzlies 110
With the victory, the Bulls improved to 25-27 on the season and will play their next game on Saturday, February 10, versus Orlando. Game time 6 p.m.
