The Support Gary Businesses (SGB) Facebook Group will network on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Family Life Community Center, Inc., 565 Massachusetts Street in Gary.
The Group meets monthly to learn about and buy from the business owners in the group as well as network, plan community events, learn about local businesses, participate in business training, and hold a business-card drawing.
Business2Customer and Business 2Business selling will give each person 10 minutes to present their business and distribute promotional material. One business will be selected to make a 20 minute presentation at the June Networking Event. The group will begin planning a community event.
Ola Morris, Coordinator of the Federation of Block Clubs of the Urban League of NW Indiana, Inc. will meet with people who want to organize or reorganize block clubs. The community is invited to attend from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m..
Host and hostess are LaJuan and Tameka Clemons. The event is FREE and open to the public; however, the meal is $10.00. RSVP to 219-938-3946 by May 17th.
