Chicago native, Chef Lamar Moore, knew from the tender age of 8 that he had a passion for culinary arts. Growing up in a large family and cooking by his grandmother’s side, Chef Lamar learned early on that giving back and cooking with love, care, and soul would be at the heart of his career.

Incorporating those same foundational steps at every turn of his progressive 15-year culinary calling, he’s taken his talents from sports stadiums to restaurants, hotels and now the ArtHouse: A Social Kitchen. As the new Executive Head Chef of the state-of-the-art kitchen, Lamar holds a degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago and has traveled to Europe, Greece, and throughout the United States to extend his knowledge and expertise of international cuisine.

His skills are extensive in a variety of cuisines ranging from Latin American to Peruvian as well as American and French fine dining – all made with the freshest ingredients the market has to offer.

Chef Lamar is highly regarded as a top professional chef in the Chicagoland area. He runs and owns Chicago eatery, Smoke-Daddy and has been featured in Zagat News Weekly, www.PlateOnline.com, Food Network and Post- Tribune.
