Annual Luncheon Of Chicago Appleseed and the Chicago Council of Lawyers

The annual luncheon of Chicago Council of Lawyers and Chicago Appleseed will take place on Friday, October 25, 2019

This year’s luncheon will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Chicago Council of Lawyers. The visionary group of lawyers believed they had a professional obligation to challenge inadequacies in the legal system, thus coming together to form the Chicago Council of Lawyers in 1969.

To build on their success and expand their impact, the Council founded the Fund for Justice – now Chicago Appleseed – and together, the groups work in collaboration to make an enduring mark on the Cook County, Illinois, and federal court systems, reducing barriers to justice.
