Faith CDC is inviting youth ages 11–20 to attend “For Youth Only: Called for More,” an empowering and interactive event focused on mental health, self-discovery, and community connection. The event will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Progressive Community Church, 656 Carolina Street, Gary, IN 46402.
This youth-centered experience will provide a safe and engaging space for participants to discuss real issues affecting their mental and emotional well-being. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn strategies for wellness, connect with peers, and take part in meaningful discussions that promote growth and healing.
“This event is about reminding our young people that they are called for more — more purpose, more peace, and more possibilities,” said Dr. Tifany Jamison, Director of the Next Urban Agriculture Generation Program at Faith CDC. “In today’s climate, it is more important than ever that we empower them with the tools and community support needed to navigate life’s challenges and thrive.”
In addition to dynamic discussions and interactive sessions, free food will be served, and attendees can look forward to a welcoming atmosphere designed to celebrate youth voices and experiences.
