The Northern (IN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, will sponsor the Hip Hop Youth Voter Rally on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 21st Century Charter School, 556 Washington St, Gary, IN, 46402. The rally will be on May 2nd from 11:00am to 12:30pm Contact [email protected] for more information. The Hip Hop Your Right to Vote will host a panel of current elected officials, Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson, Lake County Assessor Jerome Prince, 6th District Councilwoman Lavetta Sparks-Wade and moderated by Calumet Trustee Trustee Kimberly Robinson. High school seniors from 4 charter schools will have an opportunity to ask questions relative to the current state and future of Gary. Panel guests are also running for Mayor of Gary, IN.
