$8,000,000 Lotto Jackpot Won!

If you bought a Lotto ticket in Chicago, you may want to check it right away! A gas station in Chicago sold a $8,000,000 winning Lotto ticket in the Saturday, July 20th drawing. A $100,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket was also sold at a liquor store in Oak Lawn on Friday, July 19th evening drawing.

The winning Lotto ticket was purchased at BP, 7450 W. Grand Ave., in Chicago, and matched all six numbers – 5 – 7 – 17 – 25 – 34 – 44 – to win the jackpot. The retailer will receive a bonus of $80,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

The winning ticket Lucky Day Lotto was purchased at Gennaro Liquors, 5549 W. 87th St., in Oak Lawn, and matched all five numbers – 2 – 7 – 15 – 28 – 31 – to win the jackpot. The retailer will receive a bonus of $1,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery urges lucky winners to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.

More than 82,000 players won prizes ranging from $1 to $20,460 in this Lotto drawing, and more than 16,000 players won prizes ranging from $1 to $200 in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. In all, players won more than in this $8,186,000 in this Lotto drawing, and more than $141,000 in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. Lotto drawings are Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:22 p.m. CST and Lucky Day Lotto drawings are twice a day, seven days a week.
