On Thursday, May 11, more than 600 people will gather at the Avalon Manor, 3550 East U.S. Highway in Merrillville from 4:00-9:00 p.m. for the annual CAF/NWIBRT Construction Awards banquet. It is the largest event of its kind in Northwest Indiana. Anyone in construction, or that serves clients in the construction industry, should plan on attending this year’s event.
Held via partnership between the Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF) and the Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable (NWIBRT), the evening is a celebration of the most outstanding achievements in construction and safety over the past year.
Awards are given for excellence in safety standards, innovation and development in the construction industry for a variety of projects, contractors and companies. Past winners have included some of the largest construction investments in Indiana history.
The event is not all about the projects – it’s also a great way for guests to meet new clients. The men and women who attend the awards banquet represent the region’s top-level construction leadership and project owners, making the awards banquet one of the best opportunities of the year for industry networking. Representatives from NIPSCO, BP, ArcelorMittal, Franciscan Alliance, and many more leading companies, will be in attendance.
