Lexington police have now charged three people in connection with the weekend shooting that killed the daughter of Olympian Tyson Gay.
Trinity Gay was 15.
She was shot in the neck early Sunday morning in a restaurant parking lot when gunfire erupted between people in two cars.
Police have arrested Dvonta Middlebrooks, Chazerae Taylor, and his son, D’markeo Taylor.
All are facing wanton endangerment charges.
Middlebrooks is facing an additional charge of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Another man who was questioned by police after the shooting has not been charged.
There is no word yet on what led to the gunfire.
