Two Days of Blues and BBQ at the Broad Street Blues Fest

Griffith Central Park will transform into a two-day blues festival with twelve top-name blues bands nationwide on July 2 and 3. The festival will also offer BBQ for a true taste of the South. Entrance to the Broad Street Blues Fest is free with the option for VIP tickets for $20 or $25 per day. VIP tickets offer premium seating directly in front of the stage. A beer garden will also be available.

Attendees can hear blues from six artists each night from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with a warm-up at 1:15 p.m.

The July 2 line-up includes: Upside Down N Backwards, Bobby Slim James, Jimmy Nick & Don’t Tell Mama, Liz Mandeville and the Blue Points, The Kinsey Report and headliner, Bobby Rush. The July 3 line-up includes: The Fabulous Kings, Smiley Tillmon featuring Kate Moss, Omar Coleman Band, Joanna Connor – Queen of the Blues Rock Guitar, Howard and the White Boys, and Tommy Z the headliner.

Rick Ryfa, Griffith Town Council President said, “Griffith is excited to host a premier Blues Festival in Northwest Indiana and we will make it a great experience for all attendees.”

The entire festival will take place in the grassy area of Central Park located a few blocks from Downtown Griffith at 600 N. Broad Street.
