Military Veterans and their families are invited to the Northwest Indiana Veterans Assistance Center for the Annual Christmas/Holiday Party on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 12 Noon until 3:00 p.m. The center is located at 5921 W. 25th Avenue in Gary and hosted by the NAACP Gary Chapter and Steve Mays State Farm Insurance Agency in Munster. Santa’s helpers are retired U.S. Marine Carlos May, who is also a former Chicago White Sox, Cheerleaders from the Indianapolis Colts, and a former Chicago Bears players.
